Are you searching for answers that no human being can provide?
Crockett Bridge
Jesus is calling you today to cross over from death to life.

1927 Bridge Construction

Here's a picture of the Crockett Bridge being assembled.

It's one of two current spans that carry Interstate 80 North and South across the straight between the towns of Vallejo and Crockett, CA.

If it wasn't for these two parallel bridges, it would be pretty difficult to get across.

You could maybe figure out a way to go around by another way or take a boat, or at the extreme, risk a very cold swim from one side to the other.

Carquenez Bridge Constructions
But one way or another, you could eventually make it all the way across. It's not impossible.

Another photo of the construction.
The Gulf of Sin
But what If I told you the Way to Heaven
is separated by an uncrossable gap?

Did you ever see a movie called Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?

In the movie, Indiana Jones is trying to find a rare artifact called the Holy Grail. For those who don't know, this is the legendary cup which Christ Jesus shared with others shortly before he was arrested and later crucified.

Here is the puzzle Indiana was given to try and figure it out. Try to figure it out and then watch the video below.

"Only with
a leap
from the
lion’s head
can he
prove his
worth."

Knight of the Grail
“Impossible,” he mutters to himself.
“Nobody can jump this...”
"It's a leap of faith!"

If you watched the video, did you catch the last part?

"You must believe boy. You must believe..."

Yes.

There is an Uncrossable chasm between you and God which exists both here on Earth and in the invisible realms called Heaven. This chasm can only be crossed by receiving Salvation from the Creator.

In fact, anyone who dies over here on Earth that has not crossed the bridge yet "spiritually" will have a rude awakening when they realize they are still on the wrong side of the uncrossable gap. But by then it will be too late for them to be saved and transferred from death to life.

Their seperation would remain unchanged and forever.

What created this Uncrossable chasm
between us and God? What is it?

And the woman said to the serpent:

“We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”
Genesis 3:3

Garden of Eden
But the serpent
(really the devil in disguise)
tricked Eve!
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Genesis 3:6

The Uncrossable Chasm is Sin

Yes. All have sinned and fallen
short of the Glory of God.

From the least to the greatest of us since the days Adam and Eve walked in the garden thousands of years ago. But God freely offers us a way of escape. His gift of love and favor are available all because Jesus, the Anointed One, has liberated us by the work of the cross.

What you need
to know about God
These first six biblical concepts of Christ help us to process the truths of what's in God's Heart for you, His creation.

God is not a human being.
He is a spiritual being.

"For I am God, and not man,
The Holy One in your midst;
And I will not come with terror."

Hosea 11:9

"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:23-24

God is our Father.

""...yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live."

1 Corinthians 8:6

God's main purpose
in everything He does is
to make Himself known to us.

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law."

Deuteronomy 29:29

"...because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse."

Romans 1:19-20

Jesus the Christ is
God in flesh form.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."

John 1:1-3

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

John 1:14

God Speaks.

"For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water..."

2 Peter 3:5

"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."

Hebrews 1:1-4

Prayer is 99.9%
listening to Gods inward voice
speak to your Spirit.

"...that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."

Deuteronomy 30:20

"Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil."

Ecclesiastes 5:1

"The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God..."

Romans 8:16

What we need to
know about ourselves
These final six biblical truths help us in understanding the fact that we are created beings, made to love and worship our creator and Father God. As His children, it should become our desire to please Him.

We CANNOT produce
anything spiritual, righteous,
holy, or eternal on our own.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

John 15:5

Righteous deeds are not
enough to gain entry
into Heaven.

"But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away."

Isaiah 64:6

Righteous deeds done with
righteous intent store
up treasures (reward)
in Heaven.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Matthew 6:19-21

Faith & Trust are 100%
necessary to please God.

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Hebrews 11:6

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

Romans 12:1

Forgiving one another is
the most God-pleasing choice
a person can make.

This is the only concept that requires a bit more defining due to to many common mis-truths about the action of forgiveness.

God NEVER said: "Forgive and Forget."

In essence FORGIVENESS is the act of witholding punishment from a person who rightly deserves it.

"Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them."

Deuteronomy 32:35

Trust lost must be regained. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, condoning, or excusing hurt. Forgetting happens when the one who did the damage re-aquires the trust of the one damaged.

"...bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do."

Colossians 3:13

Pleasing God is the desire
of the Christian walk.

"Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him."

2 Corinthians 5:9

What others have said that Pleases the Lord.

"Loving Others', listen to Him. Pay close attention to God's creations. Present others before God."

"Ask, listen, and obey. Step forward, volunteer and attend in faith. Take the time to know Him - daily. Always be preparing your heart and soul."

"Do at least one kind thing for some-one everyday."

"My best friend is Jesus."

"God is never late."

"Share all your thoughts and moments with Him to develop a close relationship. Read his Word; fellowship with your church family! Let Him guide you!"

"Laughter is contaigious; share it with others in God's name."

"Increase in Wisdom for God's Word. Listen and learn, go deeper within, and blessing will follow. God listens."

"The Lord is my fortress and my strength. He is the light of my life."

"Give the precious gift of your time."

"Glorify Him in all things! Use your gifts to honor Him! Talk to Him throughout the day! Read His Word! Love thy neighbor!"

"Pray everyday if just for a few minutes."

"Put God first; all good things will follow."

"Opening my mouth, and being encouraging and uplifting. Shutting my mouth when I'm tempted to be critical or harsh."

God is my Father; Jesus, my Rock; the Holy Spirit, my Guide and Comforter."

"Bring your praises before your needs."

"Bathe the church in constant prayer."

"We sing joyously for the Lord."

"Live forgiven in the grace of God. Of course you don't deserve it! Forgive others. Of course they don't deserve it!"

"Change your narrow perspective by putting on the mind of Christ!"

"Plant seeds of spirit, love, and faith everyday, and the harvest will come."

"Give unselfishly daily."

"The Lord is the center of my life. Never forget He will never leave your or forsake you. Pray daily, especially first thing in the morning."

"Enjoy life, His creation and design. Jesus came that we would have life more abundantly."

"Listen to God speak to you, by reading His Word."

"Father God knows what's best for you."
